The Torah teaches us v’nishmartem m’od l’nafshoteichem, to be most careful (Deuteronomy, 4:15), in order to hopefully minimize the number of toothaches and to thereby avoid the inevitable cavities and complications that will follow, be sure to brush your teeth and floss on a regular basis.
