When you sense a need for someone to take charge and you feel you could make a difference, don’t walk away, be a leader and step forward.
There are times that call for leadership, when someone has great faith in God and is prepared to take the plunge, especially if it will benefit others. To gain a deeper understanding of this concept, read this illuminating analysis entitled, “Where is Nachshon the Son of Aminadov When We Need Him?” from Rabbi Ephraim Z. Buchwald’s Torah message for B’shalach 5780-2020 Out of respect for Shabbat, please consider printing it on Friday afternoon if you plan to read it on Shabbat.
