Recognize that the significance of picking up the Four Species together at once represents the symbolic joining together of all Jews regardless of background and level of prior Jewish study and engagement.
According to the Midrash, the Jewish people were protected in the wilderness from the elements and from enemy attack by seven clouds. The Jewish people today are similarly cared for in their exile. Out of respect for Sukkot, please consider printing it on Wednesday afternoon if you plan to read it on Sukkot.
