Make Judaism a vibrant and important part of your life.
It is interesting to note that in this week’s Torah reading, Pinchas is identified as a descendant of Aaron the High Priest. His actions actually saved many lives and as a result was rewarded by God with the covenant of peace, which only seems appropriate since we are taught in the first chapter of Pirkei Avot, Ethics of the Fathers, “ Be of the disciples of Aaron—a lover of peace, a pursuer of peace, one who loves the creatures and draws them close to Torah.”
Join thousands around the world who will be studying the first chapter of Ethics of our Fathers this Shabbat. Print out your copy before Shabbat and enjoy a truly uplifting learning experience.
