Our words really matter, especially when it comes to controversial topics that tend to inflame. Before speaking, consider the possible ramifications and impact of your words upon those who see things differently.
Not only do our words that matter, so do our actions. Jews have been taught through the millennia that our actions should be emblematic of the adage, ma’aseh avot siman l’banim, that the actions of the Matriarchs and Patriarchs of the Jewish people should provide clear direction for how we, as their descendants, act in this world.
