Take some of the uplifting elements of the Passover experience and enjoy a delicious treat or two today in honor of Isru Chag, the name designated for the day that follows the holiday.

There’s no better time than the present to draw on Passover inspiration and plan to set aside a few minutes each day to study Torah. There is a strong custom to study Pirkei Avot, Ethics of the fathers, each Shabbat afternoon from Passover until Rosh Hashana. After beginning that study on Shabbat, we can set aside a few minutes each day of the week to complete the weekly chapter. In the first chapter that we study this Shabbat, there is a beautiful idea of “vehevei dan at kol ha’adam l’chaf zechut,” to always give the benefit of the doubt to others. To learn more and appreciate the breadth of wisdom contained in the Torah, print out the first chapter of Ethics of the Fathers (click here) this afternoon and join thousands of fellow Jews around the globe who will be enjoying an uplifting experience and inspired discussions this Shabbat.
