Crash Course in Basic Judaism

Lead them toward Sinai…

There is no time as perfect as the present to offer NJOP’s five-part Crash Course in Basic Judaism and to lead the members of your community beyond the Judaism they think they know!

Give your students the basics of Judaism in just 5 sessions and watch them ask for more!

  1. Belief in God
  2. Prayer
  3. The Shabbat
  4. Jewish Observance
  5. Sexuality

NJOP will send you, free of charge, a link to download the Teacher’s Guide for Rabbi Ephraim Buchwald’s world-renowned Crash Course. This file includes detailed lecture outlines, audio MP3s, flyers and a press release that you can personalize. Also included are registration and evaluation forms, as well as the NJOP publicity packet, which will help you get the word out in a most efficient and effective manner. NJOP will also send you a hard copy of the CCBJ Companion Guide for each participant. The Companion Guide was designed to give students thought-provoking extra-curricular reading, and all you need to do to receive these copies is email in the registration sheet from the first class.

To help prepare you to teach the course, watch master teacher Rabbi Buchwald as he lectures on the topics: Belief in God, Prayer, Shabbat, Jewish Observance and Sexuality.
